Car Riders
Car Rider Numbers
Families will be issued a car rider number with the information for their child/ren. Car rider numbers may be picked up from the BTES front desk. At pick up, the number cling must be displayed on the passenger side of the front windshield. Each family will receive two car-rider clings. If any additional clings are needed please contact the front desk. If your contact and pickup information change during the school year, please inform the front desk so that this can be updated. Please help your student remember their car rider number before the first day of school.
If you plan to allow others to pick up your child/ren, please provide them with the car rider cling to display and make sure their names are listed on the car rider information sheet. All individuals picking up a student must have a photo ID.
Car Rider Registration
Please use the Car Rider Registration form to request a car rider cling. This form is only for students being picked up in the car rider line after school at 3:40 pm. Registration is not needed for morning drop off. Clings can be picked up in the front office between 9:00 am–3:00 pm.
Morning Drop-Off
Student drop off is on the south side of the school between 8:40 am–9:00 am. We ask that students remain in the vehicle under parental supervision until 8:40 am, when staff members will be on duty to watch students. Please be sure that students are ready to exit the passenger side of the vehicle when directed to do so.
Tardies
Students arriving in class after 9:10 am are tardy. Students should arrive on campus before 9:10 am to avoid being late. A parent/guardian must accompany their child/ren to the front office for a tardy slip.
Safety
Your child’s safety is our number one concern. When dropping students off in the mornings, please make sure that you are focused, follow the directions of the staff, and remain in your vehicle. We must all work together for a smooth experience.
Afternoon Pickup
Parent pickup at the end of the school day starts at 3:40 pm. Please use your designated entrance and have your number displayed, as your children will be waiting for you on that side of the campus.
Car Rider Pick Up Locations

East Entrance (Front of School): Grades 2–5, ESE - Students will load on the passenger side for safety reasons
- South Entrance (Same as Morning Drop Off): Grades VPK, K, 1, Older Siblings - Please help your children learn their car rider number and remind them to listen for it to be called. Students must wait inside the building until their number is called. Drivers should stay in their cars while students are retrieved and loaded. A buckling zone is provided for your convenience.
Traffic Pattern
- East entrance car rider traffic must enter using the southbound turn lane on Belle Terre Parkway.
- South entrance car rider traffic must enter using the northbound turn lane on Belle Terre Parkway.
