Car Rider
Car Rider Registration for the 2021–2022 School Year
Please stop by the front office to get the
car rider registration form
for each student that will be picked up i
n the car rider line after school at 3:30 pm.
Registration is not needed for morning drop-off.
Car Rider Numbers
You will be issued a car rider number with the information for your children. This car rider number will be the same, year after year, for the entire duration of your enrollment here. Each family will receive two car rider clings, which must be displayed at all times. The clings show us which car rider line you should be in. Should your contact and pickup information change during the year, please update this with the front desk as well.
Please help your child remember his or her number before the first day of school. If you plan to allow others to pick up your children, please provide them with the car rider cling to display and make sure their names are listed on the car rider information sheet. A photo ID is required for all individuals picking up a student.
Morning Drop-Off
Student drop off is on the SOUTH side of the school between 8:30–8:50 am. We ask that students remain in your vehicle, under your supervision until 8:30, when staff members will be on duty to watch your children. Please be sure students are ready to exit the passenger side of the vehicle when directed to do so.
Tardies
Students arriving in class after 9:00 am are tardy. Students should arrive on campus before 8:50 am to avoid being late. A parent/guardian must accompany their children to the front office for a tardy slip.
Safety
Your child’s safety is our number one concern. When dropping students off in the mornings, please make sure that you are not distracted, follow the directions of the staff, and remain in your vehicle. We must all work together for a smooth experience.
Afternoon Pickup
Parent pickup at the end of the school day starts at 3:30 pm. Please use your designated entrance and have your cling displayed, as your children will be waiting for you on that side of the campus. Pickup location is determined by the grade level of the youngest student in your household. We have two car rider pick up locations:
East entrance (front of the school) for grades 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, ESE
South entrance (same as morning drop off) for grades VPK, K, 1, and their older siblings.
Please help your children learn their number and remind them to listen for it to be called. Students must wait inside the building until his or her car number is called. Drivers need to stay in their cars while students are retrieved and loaded. A buckling zone is provided for your convenience.
Extended Day
If you need supervision for your children, either before or after school hours, please make arrangements with the Extended Day Program. The hours, rates, and information may be obtained by calling (386) 446-6717.
Please expect delays during rain and the first two weeks of school. For the safety of our students and staff, please do not use electronic devices in the line.
