BTES 4-H Speech Competition Winners Had Unique Topics

BTES 4-H Speech Competition Winners Had Unique Topics
Belle Terre Elementary

The winners of the annual 4-H Speech Competition for 4th and 5th graders stood out with unique topics.

Our 4th grade winner, Truman Geiger, spoke about why it is better to stay in a hotel than at home. Some of his reasons included room service and someone else to clean up after you. Elevyn Thompson, our 5th grade winner, had an inner monologue with herself about how she was really feeling about standing up and giving a speech when externally she projected calm and confidence.

They will move on to the district competition and compete with the winners from the other elementary schools.
